Dresden, Germany

October 9, 2007

Molly, Dan and I decided to hop a train last Friday and we ended up in Dresden.

We ate way too much kebab for a 24 hour time period (3 times: once for lunch, once for dinner, and once for a midnight snack).

Wandering through the back alleys of Dresden we happened upon these buildings with extreme gutters, golden flakes “peeling” off of them, and jungle animals monkeying around.

The next day we went on a five hour bicycle ride with old bikes from our hostel along the Elbe River and found a flea market where I discovered time.

On our bike ride into the German countryside we found a circus. We didn’t go in but we listened to the live music playing which was just as nice. This spontaneous weekend went rather well to say the least.
